The Pinnacle Turkey Creek 5K begins and ends at Mountain High Outfitters located in the heart of the shopping center.
The course loops through the neighborhood near True Meridian Land Surveyors, then stretches toward Parkside Drive before circling back through quiet, rolling terrain. Participants will pass familiar landmarks like Publix Super Market and enjoy a smooth, paved path ideal for runners and walkers of all levels.
This route is a mix of shaded residential streets and open stretches, offering a pleasant balance of community charm and energy. Water stations will be located along the course, and signage will clearly mark all turns and checkpoints.

Description
Race for a Reason is more than a 5K, it’s a chance to show up for our community and the animals who need us most. Join us for a fun, family-friendly run at Pinnacle Turkey Creek on April 26th as we come together to support the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing care, shelter, and second chances for animals in need.
Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, every step makes a difference. Proceeds from this year’s race will directly benefit the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley, helping fund lifesaving programs, medical care, and adoption services for animals across our region.
