Even though we are socially distanced we can still stay connected and work towards some shared goals!
While there is a lot going on that we can't control, the one thing we can control is our self-care and our health choices. Regular exercise helps us manage stress, can improve our sleep, can support healthy immune system functioning, can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and of course, helps us maintain cardiovascular health!
Whether you are a regular runner or this is your first 5K, it's not about speed or times, it's about getting out, getting moving, and having some virtual fun! You can walk, jog, run, ride, roll, swim, row... whatever you like, just register and start training! Encourage your family to do it with you and make sure you take pictures and videos and join the virtual fun. You can complete your 5K anytime the week of 10/25 - 11/1. Take a picture and post to the TN Health Coaches Facebook group (associates can join here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1078770919166200/) or email TNcoach@hbdinternational.com to officially record your 5K completion anytime during that week.
