Be a Hero for Kids! Join us for the Heroes for Hope Virtual 5K benefitting New Hope Blount County Children's Advocacy Center which serves children and families suffering from abuse. On April 18, 2020, we're encouraging YOU to get moving with us while practicing safe social distancing. Whether you run on a treadmill, jog around the park or walk around the block, the Heroes for Hope Virtual Race is an ideal way to participate and raise awareness for preventing child abuse.
There are three ways for you to be a hero! As a 5k runner or walker you can participate in the race on your own and you have an option to submit your time to compete with other racers.* We have a child 5K run/walk option for kids that want to join in the fun. For those who would prefer not to participate and would still like to donate and receive a T-shirt, we have a ghost runner option for you!
All registrants will receive a Heroes for Hope race t-shirt too! Please make sure your shipping address is correct in your profile. All shirts will be mailed out after the race to accommodate for COVID-19 precautions.
Follow our event on Facebook to get the latest updates and join our Facebook live warm up on race day! Tune in at 9am! Don't forget to show off your SUPER POWERS by posting pictures from your run using the hashtag #heroesforhope5k.
