Description
The Erase, Elevate and Run 10K is a first-of-its-kind race hosted by the Shelby County Criminal Court Clerk’s Office and CrimeStoppers of Memphis and Shelby County to celebrate a milestone of hope: 10,000 expungements processed for residents across Shelby County.
An expungement is more than a cleared record—it’s a second chance. It allows individuals to pursue employment, housing, education, and contribute more fully to their communities. This race honors those journeys—and the partners who’ve helped make them possible.
Why It Matters
Through quarterly expungement clinics, the Criminal Court Clerk’s Office has helped thousands overcome barriers to a better future.
- The Erase, Elevate & Run 10K is our way of:
- Celebrating lives transformed through second chances
- Raising awareness about expungement and community reentry
- Thanking our supporters for their continued partnership
