We've gone virtual! COVID-19 has changed the athletic community in many ways, but we believe in everyone's right to exercise, especially when it's all for the benefit of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis. This year's Harbortown event will offer participants both 5k and half-marathon options! Though the event itself will remain contact-free, we will be hosting a t-shirt/packet pickup and post race party at Grind City Brewing on Friday, June 11th at 6:00p.m. We are excited to have our community of Harbortown runners back together again. All runners in race shirts will receive their first beers on us!
This inaugural virtual event will take place from June 5th through June 11th. Though you can run your 5k or half-marathon wherever you'd like, we have included a link to the historic Harbortown 5k race map. Your participation and support are more important than ever as we fight for the empowerment of the youth of our great city! So whether you’re an ultra marathoner or a first-time 5K-er, we are here to support you and appreciate your fundraising efforts as we all seek to navigate a challenging cultural and economic environment!
Upon checkout, we hope you will create a personal fundraising page and share it on your own social media platforms. Please know that being a fundraiser is not a requirement, though we certainly appreciate you sharing our race with your running communities, friends, family and colleagues!
