Annual 5k-10k Virtual Walk/Run

¡HOLA! is kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month with our First Annual Walk/Run in honor of the 62.1 million Latinos living in the United States. There is power in numbers, so for this event, we have joined forces with our fellow ARGs, Eco Champions and Alliance and Allies. Together on September 15, first day of Hispanic Heritage Month, we invite all of you to put on your sneakers and join us in our First Annual Walk/Run. We challenge you to take a stroll outdoors, maybe go on a hike, a quick jog or even a trip to the grocery store or mall to get those miles accomplished based on your own personal goal.

Latinos make up 18.4 percent of the US population and 17.3 percent of the US labor force, a share forecast to rise more than 30 percent by 2060. Latinos start more businesses and have higher rates of intergenerational mobility, and their share of skilled and higher-paid occupations has increased in the past decade. As a population, they increasingly embody—in spirit and reality—the American dream that hard work pays off and each successive generation will be better off than the one before.

Run for Heritage will begin on September 15 and end on September 30. You will have two weeks to identify and meet your personal goal, all while having fun.

Event:

Are you up to accomplishing a 10K Walk/Run, challenging yourself to 30 Mile Walk/Run, or possibly brave enough to reach 62 Mile Walk/Run in honor of the 62.1 million Latinos living in this country?

30 Mile Winners:

¡HOLA! will conclude our Run for Heritage at selected Hispanic owned restaurants where we invite you to share a beverage, eat a meal, and engage with new and old friends. Locations coming soon!
