Description: Special Kids is a Christian, nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic rehabilitation and professional nursing services to children with special needs.
The 4th Annual Special Kids 15K/5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run will take place starting at the Murfreesboro Medical Clinic at 1272 Garrison Dr. and continue through the Stones River Battlefield and some fast and flat terrain off of Wilkenson Pike and Old Nashville Highway. All race proceeds go directly towards providing rehabilitation and skilled nursing services to children at Special Kids. Because of our wonderful sponsors covering the expenses of the race, every dollar of this event goes to the kids!!
This race is all about and for the kids. Special Kids exists to serve Jesus Christ by caring for his children, and our race exists to honor those children. We hope you enjoy the day as a runner, walker, volunteer, sponsor, or spectator. But, most of all, we hope you leave knowing you have made a difference for the kids.
