Bigfoot Blast 5K Obstacle Trail Run

The Bigfoot Blast 5k Obstacle Trail Run is coming back with a few changes to make it more challenging and more fun! There will be a few obstacles along the course while racing out of the woods, and trying not to get spooked by Bigfoot! Don't worry if you aren't an obstacle fan. There will be ways around the obstacles if you don't want to tackle them. And yes, everyone will still have to climb that hill at the end!

Never ran/walked this race before? Have you ever wandered what it would be like to hike/run at Windrock? That is exactly why this race was created. This gives you a chance to do just that while helping us raise money for good cause.  All proceeds of this race goes to The Boys and Girls Club of North Anderson County whose mission is "to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."!

Date/Time:  Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2 p.m. Packet pickup from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. 

Race Day Registration Available but your shirt size will not be guaranteed.

Location:  Windrock Park Campground, 555 Windrock Park Lane, Oliver Springs, TN 37840.  When you reach the campground, follow the signs to the race area.

Course Description:  Windrock Park's 5th annual 5K obstacle walk/run, are challenging trails with rolling hills and a beautiful mountain view.  This trail consists of gravel, dirt and rock.  Obstacles will consist of tires, climbing and mud.  Will there be a Bigfoot sighting?  You know it!  Maybe a few...

Registration and Fees:  5k Cost: $40.00 with a $3.00 Registration Fee, day of event $45. 

Awards:  Overall Male and Female, 1st through 3rd in each category 

Safety:  There will an aid station about half way through the course.  No bicycles or strollers are allowed on the course.
