Mountain Goat Trail Half Marathon

The 1st Mountain Goat Trail Half Marathon, sponsored by the South Cumberland Chamber of Commerce and the Mountain Goat Trail Alliance, will be held on Sunday, April 8, the day after the 5th Annual 5-mile run and 2-mile walk.

Online registration is through UltraSignup until 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 7th. Event-day registration Sunday morning will be in downtown Tracy City between 5:45 and 6:45 am. Online entrants will need to check in at the start.

The run will begin at 7 am in downtown Tracy City, joining the Mountain Goat Trail in Monteagle and finishing in Sewanee. The race will be timed, and prizes will be awarded.

Registration is $25 for students; adult registration is $35 until 11/30/2017, $45 between 12/1/2017 and 4/7/2018, and $55 on the day of the race. Registration includes Technical T, food, and concert.

Prize drawings and presentation of winners are planned after the run.

All proceeds benefit the Mountain Goat Trail.

Shuttles will be available both days to return runners to the start.
