Description
We are excited to be hosting our very first Christmas Virtual 5K called Kickin Up For Kindness. Anyone can participate by running or walking, well, virtually anywhere…your neighborhood, treadmill, wherever! Use your favorite app to record your distance, and we’ll keep track of participation. Complete your race anytime between December 3-21. We encourage families to participate together all decked out in Christmas gear! Share your 2020 Christmas Virtual Run photos to our TKA Elementary email: TKAElementary@thekingsacademy.net; use #KickinUpForKindness.
Every student that registers for the virtual run will be placed in a school-wide drawing for a chance to win a “Christmas Act of Kindness” from an elementary staff member of their choice (teacher, principal, custodian, reading specialist, teacher assistant, etc.). On December 7th, we will choose 10 students from the drawing, and these blessed winners will choose their very own “Christmas Act of Kindness” to be completed by their favorite (or most unfortunate) TKA Elementary staff member prior to Dec. 17th.
What’s more—if we have at least 100 students register in the Christmas Virtual 5K, these students will have the wonderful opportunity to duct tape Ms. Sullivan to the wall on Dec. 17th!!!
