Description
Kick off the new year and the 2026 Stars & Stripes 5K & FUN RUN. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just want to get and stretch your legs, we're ready for you!
WEATHER POLICY
In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.
If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans.
Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.
Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions.

We STRONGLY suggest you pick up your packet(s) or have a friend or family member do so at any packet pick up listed above. Race Start will not be held if you are late in receiving your packet race morning. Be sure to register online prior to heading to any packet pick up location to obtain your packets.
Anyone can pick up your packet.
Maximum 5 packets per pick up.

Top 3 runners from each age group get an Allen Americans Hat
The breakdown of age group awards are as follows:
19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over
Overall Age Male & Female Winner: Americans Hockey Jersey
What You Get ( Race Swag )
Each Participant will receive a custom race shirt and Finisher's Medal!
5k and 1mile fun run course
Both courses are out and back, flat and scenic along Cottonwood Creek Trail System. Starting and finishing near Bass Pro. See parking instructions below.
