Add’l….

NOTE:  Packet (just bibs and 4 safety pins) will be at the race site on race morning from 7:30 AM – 8:20 AM.

Our racing mission continues to be to produce affordable, hedonistically fun & athletically competitive races, that are technically sound (correctly-measured courses with minimum turns and visible distance – mile or Km – markers),  that also benefit some charity(-ies) with a populist & gender parity focus – for the average runner/walker (including the novices) and also for the seasoned, serious racer

If you love to race with huge crowds and don’t mind parking miles away from a race venue, no problem. But, if you prefer smaller crowds with some intimacy and where you can park pretty close to the race venue and can chit chat with the same people before, during and after a race, then we have an exciting alternative for you. On Saturday, February 27th, comes the inaugural Alternative Modest-Crowd 5K / 1 Mile Run/Walk in Arlington’s beautiful River legacy Parks.

Net proceeds from the race will benefit Free to Breathe, -- a partnership of lung cancer survivors, advocates, researchers, healthcare professionals, industry leaders  ensuring that lung cancer survival is the EXPECTATION not the EXCEPTION.
