About the UTA Goolsby Leadership Academy

The Goolsby Leadership Academy (GLA) at UT Arlington is about great leaders discovering, understanding, and applying their talents. Tomorrow’s leaders will succeed not by fixating on weaknesses or imitating others, but by exploring and nurturing their distinctive strengths.

GLA encourages students to use integrity, courage, and impact in every endeavor. The Goolsby Leadership Academy 5k Run is a senior project designed to practice this motto. Goolsby has given students enriching experiences in and out of the classroom. Now it's our turn to give back to the community!

This student-led event will impact our organization, school, and city. This offer is also extended to you, so all contributions are welcome. We appreciate connecting with you, and we hope to see you there!
