Life – this beautiful gift from a loving God – always should be celebrated in its entirety, in all its forms & persuasions – whatever they are. Through it all, we should remain joyful, happy and gay . The psalmist tells us, “This is the day which the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it” – Psalm 118:24. The hymn by Sydney Carter (1963) invites us to ”Dance, dance, wherever you may be;  / I am the Lord of the Dance, said He.” This race celebrates life!
