Description
The event format will be pool swim, in-village bike course, and run course. There will be multiple age-groups from 5 to 15 years old. There will be NO team competition at the Colin’s Hope Kids Triathlon. This race is designed to build confidence by allowing each young athlete to complete all three disciplines on their own. We will have participation awards, T-shirts, goody bags, age-group awards and prizes for top fundraisers.
This is an opportunity for your young athlete to participate in an enjoyable, safe, life-experience through athletics. It is not a highly competitive event, beginners and experts are welcomed. The objective is to encourage self-confidence, good health and community spirit through participation as we raise awareness for swim safety and drowning prevention. SAFETY & FUN for your kids are our top priorities!!!
