Friends of the Poor Walk at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church

1 mile walk to benefit the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Austin TX on Saturday, September 27 (Feast Day of St. Vincent de Paul).  Your donations will enable our volunteers help those calling for financial assistance who need a little help to pay the rent or pay the light bill.  They may have had to miss work due to an illness, lost/reduced work hours or a car repair expense.  Walk in person 1 mile with us or repeat the course to walk 2 or 3 miles.  You may also walk virtually at any time or place of your choice.  After the walk, we will have breakfast foods, fellowship and fun.  Check in starts at 8 am.  Walk starts at 8:30 am.  At 9:15 we will have a presentation to learn more about the work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.  Our door prize drawings will start at 9:30 am,  must be present to win.
