Are you training for CapTex Tri and trying to stay healthy, consistent, and confident heading into race day?
Join us for an interactive injury prevention workshop + 5K fun run designed specifically for triathletes who want to train smarter and avoid setbacks.
Led by Coach Steph (Stephanie Peterson) — Doctor of Physical Therapy and Head Coach of R3 Endurance — this session will help you understand exactly how to manage training, prevent injuries, and make better decisions when something starts to feel off. Located at Generator Athlete Lab in the Seaholm District.
What You’ll Learn:
How to tell the difference between “good pain” vs. “warning signs”
When to push through vs. when to back off
The most common injury patterns leading into races like CapTex Tri
Strength + mobility strategies that actually transfer to swim, bike, run
How fueling and life stress impact injury risk

Dr. Steph is a USA Triathlon Certified Coach and the founder of R3 Endurance based in Austin, TX. With over 20 years of experience in endurance sports and a background in physical therapy, she specializes in helping triathletes train smarter, prevent injuries, and perform at their best. Stephanie works with athletes of all levels—from beginners to experienced racers—guiding them to build strength, improve technique, and stay consistent in their training.
