Description
These non-sanctioned events will take place throughout the summer and feature fun themes including a Female Only event in June and a Couples/Pairs Event in July. Our Kid’s Race Series also takes place each month and will culminate with a Championship race in August. These short, but fast races are a fun way to practice your swimming, running and quick transitions in a supportive and festive atmosphere.
The SWIM will take place in our outdoor heated Olympic-sized (25 yard x 50 meter) pool. Adult and Kid races will be a self-seeded, time trial start, with swimmers starting approximately every 3-5 seconds apart. Athletes will swim a 100m lap, snake under the lane line and then start the next 100 (if the race distance allows).
The RUN utilizes both our on-site crushed granite trail and paved sidewalk.
Race Venue: Austin Aquatics and Sports Academy, 5513 Southwest Parkway, 78735. However, all athletes and spectators must park at Encino Trace/ARM office complex located next door at 5707 Southwest Parkway, 78735
