Join us for the Balmorhea Family 1 Mile & 5K Race!
Kick off your morning with a fun, energetic, and meaningful event for the whole family. Whether you want to compete or simply enjoy a walk together, this race is for you!

📍 Start & Finish: In front of Balmorhea City Park
🕖 Start Time: 7:00 AM - 5k (3 miles 3.1) & 8:00 AM - 1 Mile
💲 Entry Fee: $10
📝 Same-day registration available (not guaranteed) — please arrive at least 30 minutes early (6:30 am)

This is a family-friendly event open to all ages (3+). Participants can run, walk, or stroll at their own pace. Strollers are welcome (no pets, please).

🏃‍♂️ Timed race with age group awards for those who want to compete.
💧 Water stations available.
🎉 Fun, welcoming, community atmosphere.

All proceeds will go toward supporting a school in Chad, Africa, helping build new classrooms and create better opportunities for children. Donations are also welcome!

8:15 - 8:30 a.m. – 1-mile start

8:45 - 9:00 a.m. – Awards ceremony

10:30 - Brunch and swimming at Balmorhea State Park for those who would like to join.
