FREE and open to the Public run/walk
The Sea Rim Striders Run Club is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization that has been in existence since the 1970's! Our main goal is the promotion of health and fitness, with focus on running and walking. We work hard behind the scenes to bring you this Free run/walk, as well as 12 other Free events throughout the year! Thanks to our Sponsors, and proceeds from our Annual TURKEY TROT event, we are able to bring these free races to our community.
This is a FREE event; no race bibs, event shirts, finisher medals or timer.
We want to thank the City of Beaumont and Mayor Ames for signing off on our event application, to allow us to host this race in-person!
IMPORTANT!!! WAVE INFORMATION: 1st wave runners: You have a 15 minute window to arrive and pick up wristbands, and start your run/walk. Wrist band areas open at 8:30am and close at 8:45am. Your wave closes at 9:45am.

Due to COVID-19, we will be implementing some protocols via the Governor's guidelines.
All in attendance will receive a waterproof bracelet showing they signed waiver.
1. This also takes the place of a race bib so if there’s an emergency we know who they are and can look
up their emergency medical info.
Have volunteers and sponsors maintain at least 6 feet of separation from individuals, or utilizing face
coverings or masks if 6 feet of separation is not feasible, in accordance with the Governor’s protocols.
Regularly or frequently clean and disinfect any touched surfaces.
Immediately disinfect any items that come into contact with participants, sponsors, or volunteers.
Make hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes readily available to participants, volunteers, and sponsors.
Hand sanitizer stations will be available to all in attendance.
We will make hand sanitizer available in Tyrrell Park restrooms, by our event, for the duration of the event.
The event will utilize rolling wave starts in waves of 15-30 minutes, so there will be no gathering at start line.
Only single serve foods will be available at the finish line.
We will encourage BYOH for participants, and event will have bottled water available to minimize use of
single-cups and water coolers.
SRS will use our own trash cans and NOT utilize City trash cans.
PARTICIPANTS 10 AND OLDER MUST BRING A MASK WITH THEM TO THE EVENT. Per Governors Protocols, if you are within 6 feet of someone who is NOT from your household, you must wear a mask. We know there are strong opinions on both sides of this issue; please help us get back to in-person racing by following the protocols that we agreed to with the City of Beaumont so we can host other races in-person!
Keep minor children with you at all times.
Please read entire waiver in regards to bicycles, pets, etc...
COURSE ROUTE will be posted in the FREE Resolution 5K Facebook event. It will be a little different than in year's past, due to construction on the old building,
