DESCRIPTION
This is a Timed 10K/ 5K Run/Walk Awarding Overall Winner as well as a Finisher Medal and a 1 mile trail walk. Virtual Race is option to be ran at your own time and location.
The 11th Annual 5k/10k Turkey Trot takes place on a scenic city run. It starts on the west by the Main Plaza in Boerne and you will run through small and quiet neighborhoods. It will split off for the 5K and 10K but meet up on the route to finish together. The Trail walk is a meandering mile walk down by the Cibolo Creek.
The Turkey Trot is one of the Hill Country's top races. 2021 we had over 1,100 register, so register early to ensure a shirt. Must be registered by Oct. 31 to guarantee a t-shirt and medal. There will be no day of registration t-shirt and packet available.

*** Although the COVID Protocols are relaxed, we encourage a continued 6 feet of Social Distancing and a mask for personal preference.
7:40 am Opening Ceremonies begins
8:00 am Trail Walk begins
8:05 am 10K begins
8:10 am 5K begins
Well-mannered and leashed puppies are allowed. Strollers are allowed (giving the runner Right-of-way if need be)
