Texas Weekend of Remembrance 5K and Kids' Mile

Join us May 26th at Veterans Park for the City of College Station's Texas Weekend of Remembrance 5K Run/Walk and Kids' Mile benefiting Brazos Valley Cares. Brazos Valley Cares is a 501c3 dedicated to helping veterans and their families in the Brazos Valley through an emergency financial aid fund and grants to local organizations providing services to veterans. Top 3 male and top 3 female finishers will receive prizes provided by Brazos Running Company. 1st place- free pair of shoes. 2nd place- $50 gift certificate. 3rd place- $25 gift certificate.

Race Times: 8:15 a.m. – Kids Fun Run | 9:00 a.m. – 5K Run/Walk

Packet Pick-Up: Starts at 7 a.m.

Location: Veterans Park & Athletic Complex

Registration Deadline: Sunday, May 26, before each race

Prices: Kids 1 Mile Fun Run (12 & Under): $10
5K Run/Walk: $20

Rules:

• Shirts are limited and provided on a first come first served basis.
• Parents can run alongside their kids in the Kids Mile at no cost, but only the kids will receive a shirt.
• Kids in strollers are free.
• Pets are not allowed on the course during the event due to the narrow 5K course.
• Only Service Animals will be allowed on course.
• Pets are welcome everywhere else.
