Join us in Dallas, Texas, for a fun-filled morning of running, laughter, community, and all things yellow and cheerful. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a first-time 5K participant, or simply looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday morning, this event is designed to bring a little extra happiness to your day.

The Bee Happy 5K offers a variety of distances and activities to suit all ages and experience levels. Choose from a 1-mile fun run, a 5-kilometer challenge, or a 10-kilometer trek. For our youngest participants, we have a special treat—the Kids Dash! This exhilarating sprint of approximately 50 meters is designed for children aged 10 and under, promising a fun-filled experience for the little ones and a memorable day for the whole family.

Our DJ will be on hand to keep the energy high with a fantastic playlist, ensuring that you're motivated and smiling throughout your morning. Whether you're chasing a personal best or simply enjoying the experience, the lively atmosphere and upbeat music will add an extra buzz to your step.

Every runner will be celebrated with recognition and age group awards, honoring your personal achievements and dedication. We believe in making everyone feel special and accomplished, so don't miss out on your moment of glory!

Adding to the fun, we're hosting a Bee Happy Costume Contest! Embrace the theme by dressing up in your most creative, colorful, bee-inspired or happiness-themed costume. Think bees, flowers, honeycombs, sunshine, butterflies, garden characters, or anything that makes you Bee Happy!

The winner will have a chance to take home a special prize pack, and title of best dressed!

COSTUME CONTEST
The costume contest at the Bee Happy 5K is going to be a spectacular highlight you won't want to miss! Unleash your creativity and dazzle us with your most fabulous Bee Happy-themed outfit.

Whether you're rocking bee stripes, a flower-inspired ensemble, a giant honeycomb, a beekeeper costume, a colorful garden creation, or something completely original, this is your chance to shine!

The competition will be fierce, and the grand prize is the coveted "Queen Bee" Trophy—an honor celebrating the most creative, fun, and memorable costume of the day!

Get ready for a fun-filled showcase where the most imaginative costumes take the spotlight. Gather your costume ideas, bring your happy spirit, and join in on the excitement. You could be the one walking away with the coolest trophy and bragging rights as the Queen Bee of the Bee Happy 5K!

Winner will receive an impressive "Queen Bee" Trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for 2 free future races, a $40 gift card, and a special race swag pack filled with cool goodies.

BEE HAPPY RACE FESTIVITIES
Join in all the festivities you have come to expect from a Bigfoot Running Company event. Awesome medals, cool tees, high-energy staff, 100% focus on participant experience, live awards, and let's not forget the coveted race trophies.

Snacks and refreshments will be available when you finish at the race rally tent. Our DJ will be playing all the hits and announcing every runner. All award winners will be announced and recognized for their accomplishments.

Aid stations will be on the course to provide water and to assist should you have any concerns during your run.

Our primary focus is to make your race fun, safe, exciting, and full of happiness!

All finishers of all distances will receive a medal and shirt.

RACE DISTANCES OFFERED

• Kids Dash! This event is for our little Busy Bees and is typically about a 100-meter dash. Designed for kids 10 and under. This event is not timed and includes a tee shirt, race medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin. Your little Busy Bee will get to experience what races are all about as we focus all the attention on them and get the crowd involved in cheering them on. 
• 1 Mile! Our 1-mile race is designed for all ages and experience levels. This event is not chip timed and includes a tee shirt and race medal. Whether you're walking, jogging, or running, this is a great way to get moving and Bee Happy!
• 5K! Our 5K race will take you 3.11 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features 1st Overall Trophy awards for male and female finishers, special recognition pins for 1st place male and female Masters category, as well as our standard age group awards.
• 10K! Our 10K race will take you 6.22 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features 1st Overall Trophy awards for male and female finishers, special recognition pins for 1st place male and female Masters category, as well as our standard age group awards.

EVENT SCHEDULE

• 7:30–8:40 AM — Packet Pickup
  Packet pickup ends 20 minutes after the race.
• 8:55 AM — Kids Dash
  Meet at the Start Line and we will walk participants out to the starting area.
• 9:00 AM — National Anthem and Race Start!

Results and Awards are live and available at the Registration Tent immediately following your finish!

WEATHER POLICY
Races proceed rain, shine, hot or cold.

PACKET PICKUP
Packet pickup will be the evening before and of course, available 2 hours before the race start

packet pickup location will be communicated via email to all registered participants a minimum of 1 week before the race.

COURSE INFORMATION

• A map of all races will be provided digitally upon registration, and physically morning of.
• Will consists of loops along a safe trail

SHIRT GUARANTEE

Shirt guarantee cutoff is 10 days out from the event. After that date, if shirts are still available, this page will be updated and a notification of availability will be placed at the top of this listing with details concerning shirt size availability and quantity available, if applicable.

NO-REFUND POLICY

If you can't make it to your event, please contact us and we'll be happy to help you transfer your registration to Virtual, another event at another date/city, or to a friend!
