Parade lap/10K
Opening ceremonies

All riders will start the ride on the stunning Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge which will be closed to all other traffic during the ceremonial parade lap. This is a unique opportunity to ride your bicycle across this scenic structure. Riders will cross the bridge into the Downtown Dallas area on cordoned roadways and then double back across the Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge to journey through the festival area prior to heading out on the levee system.

Levee Laps
Choose your distance

Once the parade lap is completed the rest of the route will be made up entirely of the levee trails above and within the Trinity River Corridor. This will be an approximately 20 mile loop which returns to the staging/timing area at the completiion of each circuit. Riders are welcome to ride only 1 lap if they choose or as many as 3 laps to break the 100 Kilometer distance mark.

This will be a rain or shine/all weather event. No refunds are available. Organizers may choose to alter the course at any time for safety, environmental or any other reasons which may apply.

Please note that the levee system trails are primarily unpaved and composed of loose gravel. Be sure to ride a bicycle which can safely manuever in these conditions. Course marshals will be riding in conjuntion with participants to supply assitance when needed

Gravelthon! Dallas is a collaborative effort by several key affiliates to promote cycling adventures within the urban sprawl of Dallas. This is a unique event which is accessible to almost anyone who can ride a bicycle while still providing a challenge even to elite athletes. Gravelthon! offers a safe enviroment away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and "civilization" while still being within site of the Dallas skyline.

The routes will incorporate iconic features such as the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and the Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge/Plaza. It will then zig-zag along the unpaved Trinity Corridor levee trail system for a 20+ mile adventure circuit completely away from any vehicular traffic but always in sight of the Dallas skyline. Endurance riders are welcome to ride multiple laps to take the complete distance ridden over 100 kilometers!
