DeSoto Vet Fest 5K

City of DeSoto's Veterans Affairs Committee presents the DeSoto Vet Fest 5K and Appreciation Event. DeSoto is a Veteran Friendly City and we love our Veterans and appreciate the sacrifices made by them and their families for our freedom.  On November 2nd, we want to honor and celebrate our Veterans and have some fun too.  Veterans are invited to register to participate in the Vet Fest 5K at no cost.  Others can participate for $15.  Your registration includes a race T-shirt. Proceeds from race entry fees will benefit DeSoto's Veteran Friendly Business program. 

The DeSoto Vet Fest 5K will take off from the outdoor amphitheater at DeSoto Town Center, 211 E. Pleasant Run Road and follow Ten Mile Creek along the scenic Roy Orr Trail.  The 5K will end back at the amphitheater where participants will enjoy live entertainment and can browse vendor booths providing information specific to benefits and services available for Veterans.
