DVCC Turkey Trot

We’re “running” on excitement to invite you to our 2nd Annual Del Valle Turkey Trot, a fundraising event for our annual turkey drive that provides family dinners for 400 families in the Del Valle area! Whether you’re a seasoned sprinter, looking to get active, or just here to support your friends, this community event has something for everyone. We’ll be dashing through the scenic Del Valle High School campus, with activities that will keep your whole flock moving.

We’re thrilled to be using the high school for the second year in a row—big thanks to the school and their staff, who always “go the extra mile” for our community. To show our appreciation, all school staff can register with an additional 45% discount on top of our early bird special!

So don’t “trot” alone—bring your family, friends, and even your “running mates” to this fun-filled event. Whether you’re here to “run like the winded” or just for the post-race snacks, we promise a day full of laughs and high-fives!

School Club Challenge – Win $$ for Your School Club!
Calling all students! Get your school club involved in the 2nd Annual Del Valle Turkey Trot and compete for a chance to win a donation for your club. The club with the largest group of family and friends signed up and checked in on race day will take home the prize!

How to Participate:
Create or Join a Club Group
To participate in the School Club Challenge, follow these steps to create or join a group for your club:

1. When registering for the race, select the Group/Team option.
2. Choose the option to Create a New Group/Team.
3. Name your group after your school club (e.g., Robotics Club, Red Cross Club, Spanish Club, etc.).
4. Share your group name with friends, family, and club members, and encourage them to join your group when they register.

Recruit Family & Friends
The more participants your group has, the better your chances of winning! Make sure family members, friends, and fellow students join your group to represent your club.
Check-in on Race Day
All group members must be present and checked in on race day for their participation to count towards your club's total. The club with the most participants checked in will receive a donation!
Rules & Guidelines:
Only official school clubs with a teacher overseeing them are eligible for the prize (e.g., Robotics Club, Red Cross Club, Spanish Club, etc.).
Participants must be registered under the same group name for their club’s total to be counted.
The winning club will be announced at the end of the race, and the donation will be awarded shortly after.
