31st Annual Pioneer Pace 5k Run/Walk

Together to reduce local hunger and food insecurity! 
The Food & Nutrition Network is proud to present the 31st annual, Pioneer Pace 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 29rd, 2025 at 8:30 am. All proceeds will support the Tarrant Area Food Bank which serves over 146,000 households every year, and the North Texas Food Bank which provides over 70 million meals every year to local hungry and food insecure people. Any donations alone of $25 or more will receive a shirt while supplies last. Those that donate will receive an email from lgallegos4@twu.edu to confirm T-shirt sizes.

The race takes place around the beautiful Texas Woman's University campus. It starts and finishes at the Old Main Circle. We are anticipating over 120 people in attendance this year. Gift certificates and other awesome prizes will be available via raffle the day of. You get your running shoes on and come out and join!

Please plan to arrive by 7:30 am to pick up your race packet and/or register if you didn’t do it before. Before the race you may also have fun meeting our sponsors, checking out the raffle prizes, and taking pictures. Race announcements and dynamic warm-up will start by 8:15 am, so everyone is ready to start the 5k or 2-mile run, fun run/walk by 8:30 am.
