Event Overview

Get ready for El Paso’s largest and most entertaining mini-golf tournament — the Downtown Barstool Open!
Teams of four will make their way through a variety of downtown bars, restaurants and hotels each featuring a creative 9-hole “course.” Enjoy friendly competition, and plenty of fun as you putt your way through downtown.

Prizes will be awarded for:

• Low Scores
• Best Team Name
• Best Team Costume

No golf skills required — just bring your best attitude and team spirit!

• Pre-Party & Check-In: 5:00pm-9:00pm

• Event Day:
  Saturday, February 6, 2027
• Check-In: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  DoubleTree Hotel – 7th Floor (Pool Area)
• Early Birdie Start: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Standard Team Start: 11:00 AM
• Tournament Ends: 3:00 PM

Note: There will be no awards ceremony. You will turn in your score cards at your final hole to the staff member there. Winners will be contacted directly. ( and announced on social media later that day.)

Miller Lite Course

General Admission Team: $100
Early Birdie Team: $120
Early Birdie teams start an hour earlier than standard teams.

Dos Equis Course

General Admission Team: $100
Early Birdie Team: $120
Early Birdie teams start an hour earlier than standard teams.

Twisted Tea Course

General Admission Team: $100
Early Birdie Team: $120
Early Birdie teams start an hour earlier than standard teams.
 

Registration Details

Registration Period: November 19, 2026 – February 1, 2026
Price Increase: All team registrations increase by $20 after November 30, 2026
General Admission: $120 per team
Total of 150 teams across all courses (split evenly)
Early Birdie Tickets: $140 per team
Limited to 135 total teams (45 per course)
Online Registration Closes: Monday, February 1, 2026
Note: You must register all team members at the same time.

Golfer Replacements & Cancellations

Golfer replacements can be made at any time by emailing bsanchez@elpasodmd.org.
Include:

• Team Name
• Current roster
• New golfer’s name, age, and email
• Who they are replacing

Replacements will be accepted up until the event begins, but scorecards will not reflect changes submitted after Monday, February 1, 2026
No refunds will be issued.
