Mark your calendars now for the 20th Annual Fort Worth Marathon Festival to be held Saturday & Sunday, November 7 & 8, 2026.  Entry includes a USATF-certified (BQ eligible) course that is fast and flat, race shirt, personalized bib, and finisher medal. And the best post-race party in Trinity Park with food, craft beer, and music. Are you ready to put your running fitness and skills to the test and qualify for the Boston Marathon? Look no further than the Fort Worth Marathon! Our course is certified by the USA Track & Field Association, ensuring that you are running on a legitimate and accurate course. The fast course along the Trinity River, Overton Park, and Colonial area provides a scenic and enjoyable route for all participants.

The 6:00 AM start is reserved for walkers only. Marathon runners should start at 7:30 AM.

Please note that not all course services and aid stations may be fully operational for the 6:00 AM early start.

Please note:

  • Shirt sizes and styles are subject to availability

PACKET PICKUP

Participants are expected to pick up their race packet before race day unless they are:

  • Traveling from out of town
  • Unable to attend a scheduled packet pickup
  • Registering on race day

Picking Up for Family or Friends

Yes, you may pick up a race packet for a family member or friend.

Please bring a copy of their registration confirmation when possible. At minimum, you should know the participant's:

  • Name
  • Bib number
  • Age

RACE-DAY PACKET PICKUP

6:00 AM – 7:00 AM at Farrington Field

Race-day packet pickup is intended primarily for:

  • Out-of-town participants
  • Race-day registrants
  • Participants unable to attend one of the scheduled packet pickup locations

Please arrive early.

Race-day shirt sizes and availability are not guaranteed.


USATF CERTIFICATION

The Fort Worth Marathon and Half Marathon courses are USATF certified.

The Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifying course.

REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, DEFERRALS & RACE CHANGES

Refunds & Transfers

NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES — NO EXCEPTIONS.


Deferrals

Deferrals to the following year's event are available through:

October 15, 2026

Deferrals are subject to an administrative fee.

After October 15, registrations that are not used will be considered a donation to the One Step Foundation.


RACE DISTANCE CHANGES

Participants may change race distances based on the following schedule:

Through September 30

$10 administrative fee + any difference in registration price

October 1 – November 6 at 6:00 PM

$15 administrative fee + any difference in registration price

At Packet Pickup

$15 administrative fee + any difference in registration price

Packet pickup changes are limited to race-distance changes only.

No refunds, transfers, or deferrals will be processed at packet pickup.

If changing to a higher-priced race, participants are responsible for paying the difference in registration price.

Age Group Awards

Age group awards will be presented three deep in the following divisions:

12 & Under • 13–15 • 16–18 • 19–24 • 25–29 • 30–34 • 35–39 • 40–44 • 45–49 • 50–54 • 55–59 • 60–64 • 65–69 • 70–74 • 75–79 • 80+

Awards are presented three deep in each age group for all five race distances.

Award Pickup Deadline

Awards will not be mailed.

Award winners are responsible for picking up their award at the event or from Luke's Locker before the deadline.


FINISHER RECOGNITION

Every finisher in the:
