Fort Worth Police and Fire Memorial Run

The Fort Worth Police Officers Association & Fort Worth Professional Firefighters are hosting a 5k and 1 mile Fun Run to benefit the Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial.  The 5k and 1 mile Fun Run will start by the memorial and wind its way through beautiful Trinity Park and  then return to the memorial. The proceeds from this event will go to help repair and maintain the Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial.

Each day, the Police and Firefighters of our community exemplify personal courage and committment striving always to ensure a safe environment for our city and its' citizens. The Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial was built to pay tribute to the lives of peace officers and firefighters who have fallen in the line of duty. The monument is in memory, and an expression of appreciation for our lost heroes who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the citizens of Fort Worth.

5k USATF course certification number is TX15089ETM. 5k Race is chip timed.

Panther City Pipe and Drums will play before the race.

Please register by Friday, August 25, 2017 to be guaranteed a race t-shirt. If you register after the 25th it will be first come first serve at packet  pickup for shirts.

Race Date and start time:  Saturday, September 2, 2017 5k @ 8:00 a.m., 1 mile @ 08:15 am.

Race Location:  2201 W. 7th st. at the Police and Firefighter Memorial. Across the street from Montgomery Plaza.

Thursday August 31, 2017  Time: 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m

Location: 2501 Park View Drive, lobby of Park Plaza office building. Just northwest of I 30 and Forest Park Blvd intersection.

Friday September 1, 2017  Time: 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m

Saturday September 2, 2017 Time 6:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.

Location: 2201 W. 7th, at the Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial in Trinity Park across from Montgomery Plaza.
