We’re back with a family friendly 5k and Fun Run. You guessed it, it’s Halloween themed!
Please join us for the 2020 – Virtual Gary Burns Fun Run & 5K, presented by and benefiting the Frisco Education Foundation. Your support matters as FEF provides teacher grants and scholarships for graduating seniors, right here in Frisco ISD!
Run, Walk, Cycle, Roll. . . Hop, Skip or Jump your way to the finish line anytime from October 17th through Halloween, October 31st. There will be some tricks and treats along the way.
Be sure to share with your friends and family near and far. Virtual means you can participate anywhere, in your costumes of course!

Best Boomerang: Forwards or backwards – any way you’re participating. Submit your boomerang!
Best pet costume: Got a 4 legged friend racing with you? Show us!
Best family theme: Grab the kiddos and get some fresh air! This award goes out to the family with the best themed costume.
Best School Spirit: We've got spirit, yes we do - how about you? Post a photo of yourself logging miles in your school gear. Colleges included!
Furthest away participant: Virtual Racing means you can do it anywhere. The participant that lives the furthest from 75035 wins the prize!
Gary Burns Award: Show off your Gary Burns 5K shirts from previous years. How far back can you go?
Best Individual Costume: Our judges will review all submissions and determine an overall costume winner.
5 x 5: Run all 5 suggested routes and submit a selfie of you with a landmark from each to be entered in a drawing for a sweet prize!

*All costumes must be family-friendly. Gore, graphic violence, nudity, swearing, realistic firearms and weapons or other objectionable elements may be grounds for disqualification as determined by the event coordinators.*
Mask Pickup
As a thank you for registering for the race - we have a mask just for you! You will need to print your confirmation email you receive after registering to pick up your mask. You can pick up your mask and a free treat (no tricks!) from the following location on the following date/timeframe:
October 29 between the hours of 11am - 7pm

We are providing you with RaceJoy as part of the official race experience for the Virtual FEF Gary Burns 5K & Fun Run.
