Holiday Ramble Gravel Grinder

The North Texas autumn classic is back with some new twists and turns! The Holiday Ramble gravel grinder routes are the favorites for many of our riders. The twisting course through the Cross Timbers forest provides unrivaled scenery for the region. We have hand picked this particular weekend as our best chance at getting the full effect of the fall color change (fingers crossed). While not as extreme as some of our routes further west, this one is far from dull. Lots of rolling hills, twisting roads and a true sense of being away from it all. Routes include a 25 mile fun ride, a 100 mile endurance classic and new for this year a competitive 50 miler with awards for multiple age breaks.

The scenery will be breath taking, the routes will be unique and the competition will be stout for those of the racing persuasion. 50 mile route will have a water table around mile 25. 100 mile route utilizes the same water table and goes by 3 convenience stores on the route. Gravel grinders are typically considered "self supported" and riders are expected to carry tools and equipment to be able to proceed with minor mechanicals, flats, etc. There will not be a wheel car. Sweep vehicles will be on course to ensure all riders return to staging safely.
