Description
Rad Racing Company proudly presents... the 1st Annual Garland Gobble Dash!!
Every Thanksgiving Day we meet at Audubon Park in Garland, TX to smoke the rubber on our shoes (while our turkeys are smoke'n at home) and prep our bellies for deliciousness by completing a 5K/10K or Half-Marathon... 10 and Under fun: Kids Gobble Dash (short mini race/sprint).
POST-RACE will end with our Signature 'Gobble Gauntlet' Competitions!!

So, before you dive into your gravy trains and tryptophan induced comas, lace-up your kicks and come dash along side us to raise funds for our awesome charitable partners and burn those calories out of the way for the good stuff on Turkey Day!

"Volunteer then Run" is our highly discounted registration to help with Race Day and Pre-Race Day Packet-Pick-Up. After Race Day Packet Pick-Up is over, you can run and then after help with Award Distribution, Finishline photos and Finisher Tent needs. This option is only available to 5k participants. Simply show up an hour and a half before race start to help and before the race starts, you can join everyone at the starting line to get warmed-up. Then after you run the race and recover you help us hand out awards, refreshments and any post-race needs!!
Supporting/not running, but want to serve your running community and still get the swag? No problem, just click on volunteer on the above menu and choose from the available positions still available. These positions are filled on a first come first serve basis.
Full race volunteers will receive:

Virtual Events
Virtual Event participants are welcome to run any day, anytime, at the location of their choice!
Your registration includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and shipping for your packet. Your packet will be mailed to you and our goal is to ship out the Tuesday after the race. You can upload your times starting the day of the event on the results page. You can also upload any photos in the "participant upload" album on the photos page!

WEATHER & CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. All Rad Race Company events proceed rain, shine, snow, or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no-refund policy.
If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans.
Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.
Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions.
If you are unable to participate in the event, upon request we can switch you to Virtual and you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal, and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course. *See our virtual race information for complete details.
