Who is Kids Across Cultures and What is the Clean Water Project?
10,000 Filters for 10,000 Families – That’s Our Goal
There are millions of children and families still without access to clean drinking water. Today alone, tens of thousands of children will suffer or die because of preventable water borne disease. We can make a difference! Each $75 donation provides a ceramic filter for one family or school that will provide clean water for 5 years. That $75 covers the cost of getting the filters out to remote villages, training families how to use and keep them clean, and follow up visits to be sure they are being used correctly and that kids are getting healthy. All proceeds from the Clean H2O Run will go directly to Kids Across Cultures for this project. In addition, you can help reach this goal faster by asking family and friends to pledge your run to the finish line. Donations can be made in your name for any amount. Set a goal of how much money you want to raise for this cause and strive to meet it. Many families will thank you!
