54th Annual Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta

Be part of the 54th Annual Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta presented by Gillman Subaru! The largest canoe and kayak race in Texas is a 15-mile paddle down Buffalo Bayou on March 21, 2026!  Support Buffalo Bayou Partnership and participate in this Houston tradition.

Starting Line: 7700 San Felipe (1/4 mile west of Voss)
Race Day Registration: 7:00 - 8:45am
First Start Time: 9:00am
Finish Line: 11am to 2:30pm at Allen's Landing (1005 Commerce Street at Main Street)
Awards Ceremony:1:30 pm

Registration fee (does not include boat rental) is $55 per person/$60 after February 28/$65 Day-Of.

Refunds are not allowed for this race.

Minimum entry age is 12. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

PLEASE NOTE: On-line registration closes on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 11:59 pm CST. You will be able to register on event date (Saturday, March 21, 2026) at $65 per person, but you will NOT be included in the official timekeeping of the race, nor eligible for awards.

For packet pick-ups on March 19 and 20, you must register by Monday, March 16 at 11:59 pm CST.

** Severe Water/Weather and Event Cancellation: The Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta is rain or shine. If cancellation does take place due to severe water or weather conditions, entry fees will not be refunded and will support the work of Buffalo Bayou Partnership.
