This year, we’re bringing the Halloween spirit to the course with glowing lights, spooky vibes, festive music, costume fun, and a high-energy evening packed with excitement from start to finish. Whether you’re chasing a PR, walking with friends, or just coming out to enjoy the atmosphere, this event is all about community, wellness, and unforgettable fun.

Expect a howlin’ good time with themed photo ops, interactive vendor booths, music, giveaways, and plenty of Halloween surprises along the way. Throw on your best costume, gather your crew, and join us for a night full of movement, memories, and monster-sized fun. From runners to walkers to spectators, there’s something for every ghoul and goblin to enjoy!

Race Day Schedule

• 3:30 p.m. – Last-Minute Registration & Packet Pick-Up Opens

• 5:00 p.m. – 5K & 10K Start
• 6:15 p.m. – 5K & 10K Awards

Parking

Free parking will be available for all runners and spectators at Sam Houston Race Park.

Please enter Sam Houston Race Park through the North Entrance from North Sam Houston Parkway W.

To allow for race operations and participant safety, all vehicles must exit using the North Entrance via North Sam Houston Parkway W.

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the 5:00 p.m. race start to allow plenty of time for parking, packet pickup (if needed), and getting to the starting line.

Packet Pick-Up Options

Option 1:
Have your race packet mailed directly to your door for $15 (limited-time availability).

Option 2 (Recommended):
Pick up your packet on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at:

Race-day packet pickup is available, but early packet pickup is strongly encouraged to avoid lines and ensure you're ready for the 5:00 p.m. race start.

Spectators Welcome!

We welcome all spectators to come out, support, and cheer on your family and friends as they cross the finish line!

After the race, stick around and enjoy the fun. Spectators are invited to watch our live magic show beginning at 6:30 p.m., making it a great evening for the whole family.

A variety of food trucks and vendors will be on-site with food, beverages, and other items available for purchase throughout the event.
