Houston Humane Society 43rd Annual K-9 Fun Run + Walk

Animal lovers like you are creating a more humane Houston! Join us for our 43rd annual K9 Fun Run + Walk! In addition to raising essential funds to support our lifesaving work, it’s an opportunity for animal lovers to join together to make a lifesaving difference for pets and wildlife in need. Join a community that is committed to creating a more humane Houston for animals and the people who love them. 

Packet Pick-Up Options

1. We will have two in-person packet pickup locations. Attend our packet pickup party, location and time TBD, or pickup at the Houston Humane Society. 

2. Mail: We also can have the packet mailed to your preferred address for a flat shipping fee of $10.00

*Registrations that occur 2 weeks prior to the Fun Run + Walk will only be able to pick up their runner packet(s) the day of the event at the Registration Desk. Same goes for those unable to attend the Packet Pick-Up Party.*

Alumni Parade

Houston Humane Society Alum, here is your chance to showcase your transformation! One of the greatest reminders of each donation's impact is the heartwarming updates to see how our HHS pets are doing months or years after adoption. Sign up for this year's parade here. K-9 Fun Run + Walk race participants receive automatic entry into the Alumni parade if they have the adopted dog with them. All Parade participants who pay the $5 entry fee receive a FREE Alumni Swag Bag. If K-9 Fun Run + Walk race participants would like to purchase an Alumni Swag Bag, a $5 entry fee must be paid. Automatic entry for race participants!

Costume Contest
