Run Houston! Sam Houston Race Park Virtual Race

If you missed out on the first race of 2017 Run Houston! Race Series on January 1st here's your chance to makeup the race and earn credit for completing the first race in the Series by running virtually.

Completing your virtual race is simple:

1. Register anytime between now and 3/28/2017 by clicking the Sign Up button.
2. Run at least 5k (3.1 miles) anytime between when you register and 3/31/2017. If you are 12 years old or younger you can participate in the virtual kids 1k (0.6 miles).
3. Submit your time and verification via the form listed on http://runhouston.com/virtual

You MUST submit your time via the form linked at http://runhouston.com/virtual no later than 11:59pm on 3/31. No submissions for this race will be accepted after that time. Please note that the form will still be open because the Run Houston! Minute Maid Park virtual race will be happening at the same time. We will send multiple reminder emails leading up to the submission deadline. 

After all the results have been submitted and processed we'll upload your results to the official even results page, http://runshrp.com. 

For completing your virtual race, you'll receive a race finisher's medal and soft-spun cotton event shirt with gender-specific sizing. These items will be mailed to you so you don't need to travel anywhere to pick them up. We ask that you allow 4-6 weeks after the submission deadline for delivery of your items. Generally, it's much faster but we've had unforeseen delays in the past. 

In addition, you'll also receive credit for completing race #1 of the 2017 Run Houston! Race Series and will be on your way to earning your custom aluminum finisher's medal display.
