Why We Run

Since 1981, RMHC Greater Houston has offered a home away from home providing care, compassion and hope to families with seriously ill children being treated in Texas Medical Center member institutions. The House provides a place to find rest and respite, activities, meals and snacks for our families, at no cost - with 111 sleeping rooms across four locations: Holcombe House, Texas Children's Hospital, Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital, MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital.

We also provide a CareMobile that travels out into our local community and provides access to well checks and immunizations for school aged children.
