Tour de Houston, presented by Apache Corporation, offers Houstonians and visitors a unique way to view the city with bike routes winding through Houston’s historic neighborhoods, scenic districts, and parks. With three ride length options, the Tour de Houston is the perfect event for leisure riders or cycling enthusiasts.

The ride begins and ends at Avenida de las Americas at Discovery Green. Riders can also enjoy a post-ride party with music, free food, and beverages.

Ride Start Times

• 45-mile Ride - 8:00 a.m.
• 20-mile Ride - Immediately after all 45-mile riders clear the Start Line
• 10-mile Ride - Immediately after all 20-mile riders clear the Start Line

*No riders will be allowed to leave the start line after 9:00 a.m. Routes will be secured until 1:00 p.m. 

**Helmets are required for all participants. If you do not wear a helmet, you will not be allowed to participate. There are no exceptions. 

Rider Information

No riders will be allowed to leave the Start Line after 9:00 a.m. Routes are secured until 1:00 p.m. After that time, riders can hop on the sag wagon or continue the ride without support. 

All rest stops will provide water, hydration beverages, fruit, plus sweet and salty snacks. Portalets will be stationed at every rest stop. Bike repair and support will be on-site at Discovery Green and at each rest stop to assist with bike needs. Sag wagons will be en route should a rider need a ride back to Discovery Green.

Tour de Houston is a rain-or-shine event. We will only cancel in the case of severe, potentially dangerous weather. Any updates regarding the event's status will be sent to registered riders via email and posted on our social media feeds.

• Thursday, April 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Friday, April 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

• Sunday, April 12 from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Packet Pick-up times are firm. Our volunteers will get riders in and out of line as quickly as possible. In the case of long lines, your patience is appreciated. 

Official Ride Jersey

2026 Tour de Houston bike jerseys are available for purchase via Peak 1 Sports. Purchase by April 5 for delivery by April 11.

Limited sizing available after March 1. Jerseys will not be sold at Packet Pickup or on Ride Day. All jerseys must be ordered through the Peak 1 Sports website.

Official Event T-Shirt

All registered riders will receive a cotton event t-shirt as a part of their registration fee.

*A limited number of event shirts will be available for sale for $10 during packet pickup and on Ride Day. Sizes and quantities are not guaranteed. Cash sales are preferred.
