Known as the perfect trail running course for veteran runners wanting a 100mile P.R., as well as the perfect race for rookie ultra runners wanting a good setup to accomplish their goal. Expect frequent and incredible (known around the world) aid station support all day and night. Generous cut-offs. A fun atmosphere for family, friends, and awaiting crew members with 5 x 20 mile beautiful loops around the lake, over wooden bridges, and through the tall pines. Gently undulating trails on a bed of pine needles. Don't let the name fool you, you don't have to worry about rocks on this course, but keep your eyes on the tree roots grabbing at your feet.
$1,000 to anyone who breaks the male or female fastest known time for 100 miles on trail.

HOKA ONE ONE ROCKY RACCOON 100 PARTICIPANT CAPS: Due to a limited amount of space at Huntsville State Park, all Rocky Racoon 100 races have a participant cap.
Rocky Raccoon 100 mile and 100km are on Saturday, February 6, 2021.
Once each of these race distances individually sells out the Wait List is activated. Each person wanting to register for that distance, must sign up on the Wait List. As existing runners who can no longer make it let us know, the next person on the Wait List is automatically invited (via email) to register. Each person on the Wait List has 24-hours to accept their invitation to register and if it is not used, then their Wait List invitation gets cancelled and the next runner will be sent an invitation. Watch your email for your invitation to register!
