Jefferson Lions Club Lucky 5k and Fun Run

The inaugural Jefferson Lions Club Lucky 5k and Fun Run will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

You will enjoy this course as it winds through the streets of downtown Jefferson and the homes of the Historical District. Come on over for the race, then spend the day in Jefferson visiting the many specialty shops and local award-winning restaurants. Fun for the family includes museums, a river boat tour, a fudge store, 2 drive-through safari parks, a splatter room, riverfront boardwalk, an old-fashioned general store, specialty shops, home tours, and MORE!

5k:  The 5k will include chip timing, race bibs, race t-shirt, finisher's medal, and a swag bag. $100 prize to top male and female finisher.  1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female winners will receive awards in the following age groups:    12 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70+

Awards presentation immediately following.

Fun Run:  Not a runner? No worries! You can walk the Fun Run course around the block by the Courthouse. All race participants will receive a race medal at the finish line. All ages are encouraged to participate! The race registration and finish line are located at the parking lot of the Marion County Courthouse in Jefferson, Texas.  

*NOTE: ENTRANTS MAY NOT PARTICIPATE WITH ANIMALS.

Race proceeds fund the many worthwhile Jefferson Lions Club service projects that benefit our community: scholarship fund, Texas Lions Camp, disaster relief, eye exams, eye glasses, and MORE.
