Get ready to run in your bubble, as the Katy Bubble Run goes virtual for 2020! We are ecstatic to announce that this year’s annual event is still moving forward, only with a unique twist this time around! To adhere to CDC social distancing guidelines, this year’s race is going virtual. The 5K/10K and Kids Dash will be November 21st – December 1st, which means you have just over 10 days to complete your run/walk and submit your time by noon on December 1st. If you are looking for an app to help you track your distance and time, we recommend MapMyRun. For some added fun, you can share pics of your run on social media using #runinyourbubble. One last thing, we ask you to share this event with your family and friends to encourage them to sign up. There is plenty of time to get them registered to join in the fun! Anyone who is registered by October 31 will receive a t-shirt, run packet, and run bib.

The Katy Bubble Run goes to support numerous nonprofits in the Katy-area. Without this event, many of us struggle to operate at full capacity. The communities we serve have been put through the crucible and have been made been stronger for it. Our level of commitment has been steadfast, even in the wake of recent unprecedented events. We ask for your support so that the critical services that we provide can continue to positively impact the region. It is with this in mind that we ask for your continued support of the Katy Bubble Run. We will be enforcing our policy that this event is non-refundable. This policy has been in place since before the event was originally scheduled to take place on March 28, 2020.
Your contribution to the Katy Bubble Run is valued and endlessly appreciated. To continue to support the work that we do, it is paramount that we ask for your support in our philanthropic efforts through fundraisers such as the Katy Bubble Run. We ask for your participation in this year’s event to make it a resounding success. We look forward to the near future when we can return to the event structure of the past and once again gather as a community.
