• Duathlon 2 mile run / 13 mile bike / 3 mile run
• Aquabike 500 meter open water swim / 13 mile bike

Proceeds from The Katy Triathlon benefit the Rotary Club of Katy's scholarship fund, which provides grants to graduation seniors of the Katy Independent School District and other valuable community projects.

Divisions

Invitational
The Invitational Division is for those triathletes who have finished top 3 overall or won their age group at any Texas triathlon in 2019. Proof of placing must be furnished to race director. They will be the first wave to start the race.

Miltary & First Responders

Current First Responders and either military personnel with prior service or currently active duty.

Individual
Men's and Women's Age Groups
12-14 (must be 12 years or older to participate); 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 +
Collegiate
University/college students currently enrolled in 12 or more semester hours - male and female divisions
Clydesdale Division
Men's heavyweight division. You must weigh 220+ pounds to be eligible to race in the Clydesdale division.
Athena Division
Women's heavyweight division. You must weigh 165+ pounds to be eligible to race in the Athena division.
Triathlon Relays
3 person all male; 3 person all female; 3 person mixed; 2 person (one person completes two events)

IMPORTANT! ALL PARTICIPANTS!
Katy Triathlon Packet Pick-up All entrants must attend to pick up their packets (NO ONE CAN PICK IT UP FOR YOU). This is a USAT requirement. There will be no exceptions. USAT members must bring their current membership card and a picture ID to claim their packet. Relay teams: all three members of a relay team must pick up packets together. NO RELAY PACKETS WILL BE HANDED OUT INDIVIDUALLY.

NO RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP. NO EXCEPTIONS. 

Refund Policy no refunds or transfers according to USAT rules

Race is limited to 800 participants including relays. If the field is full, unclaimed packets will be sold beginning at 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 28th. We will not be keeping a wait list or making phone calls. Be in line before 4:30pm.
