YaraStar's Fun Virtual 5K Scholarship Run

The YaraStar Foundation has turned ONE! To celebrate this milestone, join us for our Inaugural Virtual 5K Run during the month of April 2023, i.e. April 1st – 30th, 2023. Walking/running plays a major role in the physical development of children with special needs and hence we thought, how fitting for an anniversary celebration! You can choose to walk or run to complete the event at your own convenience throughout April 2023.

About YaraStar Foundation

The YaraStar Foundation was formed in honor of Yara’s life and legacy; a spunky 3.5-year old with Down Syndrome who suddenly passed in April 2018. The Foundation provides scholarships to early intervention services for special-needs kids, as well as educational scholarships to marginalized kids, thereby giving them an opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential in this world. What you will receive

All registered participants will receive an awesome 3-inch YaraStar Foundation Medal and DryBlend T-shirt. Your registration also includes a leaderboard on which you can track the times and performance of other participants. That’s a great opportunity for you to run multiple times and then post your best time.

T-shirts & Medals will begin shipping after the first week of May 2023.

To post your finish time, open the Results tab and click on Select Virtual Results. All finish times must be posted by midnight (CST) April 30th 2023.
