CDC Cancels April Fools day, fools to celebrate virtually on May 1 instead!
Dear running friends, under the new CDC guidelines we are celebrating April Fools Day Marathon with a Virtual 2.62 Marathon on May 1st. Running and Fun are guaranteed, All proceeds will still go directly to our Good Running fund for the parks and youth running. Thank you for your support and understanding, and keep running! Since we cannot do our traditional beer and tacos we will add a little spice with a one day scavenger hunt in Bear Creek Park. For every 5 registrants there will be an opportunity to find a Goodr rock while you do your Virtual Marathon. There will also be a Virtual 2.62 virtual trophy stand for selfies and bragging rights.

Description
Join yourself May 1st at a time of your choosing for the 2nd annual April Fools Marathon, cover a stunning 2.62 mile course through Bear Creek Park or anyplace on Earth. FIRST 100 registered runners receive a commemorative trucker hat and holographic sticker. For every 5 registrants a Goodr prize rock will be placed in Bear Creek Park May 1st along park trails. In lieu of a common start/finish line there will be a commemorative awards banner selfie station in the park where we usually start.
100% of the proceeds will go to our Good Running fund for future park improvements and to support youth running.
