Girls in Tech (GIT) is a global non-profit focused on the engagement, education and empowerment of girls and women who are passionate about technology. Our local chapter is proud to host our First Annual 5K Fundraising Run!

This events promises to be a great opportunity to spend a Sunday morning with family and friends both old and new. After you finish running or walking your way through the neighborhood, you will end up back at the Highlands Village Event Center. Stay around for a while to visit our “all things girl power” fair with numerous groups sharing information on their organizations such as Whiz Biz Kids, Girl Scouts, Westlake Robotics, etc. We will be offering up light nibbles, OJ and, of course, the cursory Sunday morning mimosas! The splash pad will be open for business and the playgrounds ready and waiting. We will have Courtney Santana, a local performing artist serenading us with her amazing voice. Stay around for the raffles and prizes. Feel free to close out the day by stopping for brunch or photo ops at the Canyon Ranch Grille which overlooks Lake Travis and the Rough Hollow Yacht Club & Marina.
