Rick Neill Memorial Holiday Run and Family Festival - CANCELLED DUE TO PARK FLOODING!

THE CITY HAS NOTIFIED US THAT THE PARK IS CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING. WITH MORE RAIN IN THE FORECAST THE WEEK OF THANKSGIVING BREAK, THE PARK WILL BE CONTINUE TO BE CLOSED AND NOT FREE OF DEBRIS. THIS MEANS THE PARK IS NOT SAFE FOR THE RACE. WE ARE VERY SAD THAT WE MUST CANCEL. WE ARE WORKING ON ISSUING REFUNDS. PLEASE BE PATIENT. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO STILL DONATE TO THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY. WE WILL REGROUP AND GET READY FOR NEXT YEAR. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

Bring the entire family and come compete in a 5K race or the family holiday fun run while enjoying all the family fun activities. We have partner with The American Cancer Society and a local children's hospital. Your toy donation will help bring joy to a child/family who is currently in our local hospital and a percentage raised from the event will be donated to the Rick Neill Scholarship fund, The American Cancer Society, and or Lewisville High School Cross Country and Track Booster club. Competitive 5K Race starts at 10:00 am

The Rick Neill Memorial has been run as one of the premier High School Cross Country meets in North Texas for the past 15 years. This year we have moved the race to a post season race and made it a community invovled holiday family event. The race itself is not your typical road race! It is run along the shores of Lake Lewisville on a traditional cross country course. The out and back style race offers a great challenge to the runners and very good race viewing for the spectators. The signature feature of the course is a classic 200 meter uphill sprint to the pine tree lined finish line.

Family Fun Run Race  (1 Mile) starts at 11:00 am

We will have kid friendly activities that include face painting, snow cones/hot chocolate, letters to Santa, a DJ and other booths for the entire family to enjoy. 

All activities will conclude at 1:00 pm.
