Enjoy a 5K or a 10K with medals way bigger than they should be! The Big Ole Medal Run celebrates that thing we all really want...the bling. 5K runners will receive a 4 inch medal at the finish line and you 10K nut jobs will walk away with a whopping 9 inches of glory hanging around your neck! Set on the beautiful trails of Little Elm along Lake Lewisville this is a race you won't want to miss out on. Space is limited and once it sells out, registration will fully close and that's all she wrote for this year.

"Nickel from Nicole" is a local non-profit whose mission is to promote safe driving awareness to teenagers. The non-profit was born out of tragedy when the LeGrow family lost their 16 year old daughter, Nicole, in a senseless car accident in 2010. Approximately 500,000 teens are seriously injured in car accidents every year, and on average 5,000 teens are killed, making car crashes the leading cause of death among teenagers in America. This is the 8th year "Nickel from Nicole" has involved the community in a fundraising event from which, proceeds have allowed them to spread their message across the USA and beyond! We are honored to dedicate this event to "Nickel from Nicole". I hope you'll join us as we "Save Lives One Nickel at Time"
