The Big Easy is BACK in Little Elm for its 12th year on February 28, 2026, from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm! 
Join us for your Cajun favorite,s including:

• The run/walk is open to all ages.
• Each participant will receive a t-shirt, and the first 1,000 registered participants will receive a finishers' medal.
• Awards will be given for the best dressed female, male, and krewe (a krewe is five to 10 people)

Parking

• Participants who pick up their race-day packet in advance will receive free parking.

    - Saturday, February 28: 3:45 p.m.–4:45 pm. (The Lakefront at Little Elm)

The breakdown of age groups will start with 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, and continue in 5-year increments, up to 80+  

All awards are based on chip time.  
AWARDS WILL NOT BE MAILED OUT AFTER THE EVENT.

Weather

Race is rain or shine!

For safety reasons, we reserve the right to modify or cancel a race in the event of severe weather. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be taken to ensure the athletes' safety.

In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the organizer and local authorities.  

We always strive to produce a full and safe multisport event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. A considerable amount goes into planning a multisport event, and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather, and race directors are no exception. Our goal is always to produce a full event as scheduled and to modify plans only due to safety concerns, including those caused by weather conditions.
